WeWriWa o6.30.13

Welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors! After taking a week off last week, I am back this week with another 8 sentences from BloodLust: Armani.

Where we last left off, Armani and Karlea were still battling it out, but Karlea was losing strength fast.
"The blood is wearing off, my dear." Armani said, slamming her back into the wall.
"Don't worry, I still have enough to kill you!" Karlea said slamming him back into the wall, again.
They went back and forth slamming each other into the wall, draining both of them of vital energy. "Here." Armani said, biting his lower arm, "You need more."
Armani slammed her into the wall as she looked at him and then took his wound into her mouth.

This battle isn't over yet :) Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading comments! I am once again behind on commenting, I believe I am now three weeks behind, I actually took last week off to try to catch up, but that didn't happen. But I will catch up this week!

WeWriWa o6.16.13

Welcome to your Sunday! Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Especially to all the special ones in my life!!!

Last week, Karlea and Armani were going at it hard ;) This week their fight continues. This excerpt picks up after Armani had her by the throat, and Karlea used her strength to kick him off of her...
Karlea hit the floor hard, as Armani flew across the small room. Thankful that she was able to do that,  Karlea caught of few breaths of air before making herself jump to her feet; she didn't have much time before he would recover, and she could feel that the effect of his blood was starting to wear off. She ran at him, leaping into the air, and landing with her hands on his shoulders and her knee on his chest, pushing him back into the wall. It took more effort than before, and Karlea was beginning to feel tired - Armani sensing it.
"Nice move." Armani said as he grabbed onto her and slammed her into wall, "but I think you're getting exhausted."
Karlea held onto him and used so much of her strength to slam him back into the wall. She had to hurry this up and finish this.

Eventually this fight will have to end, but I think we have a few more weeks of snippets left. I am very tempted to share the rest, but I will probably make you wait.

Thanks for reading! And please comment, I love reading comments!

To all that commented last week, I still have not read/commented from last week! I will visit your blogs soon!

WeWriWa o6.o9.13

Its that time again! Time for Weekend Writing Warriors! I always look forward to this day.
How is everyone doing out there?

Last week, Karlea broke a few of Armani's bones and told him she was going to kill him. This week, he is ready to put up a fight, not to save his vampire life, but to get a reaction out of Karlea.

"Lets." Karlea grinned. Armani grabbed onto her, just as she threw Armani into the wall, taking her with him, pieces of concrete falling to the ground after he smashed into it. He threw Karlea across the room; she hit the concrete floor hard. She immediately jumped to her feet, not caring if something had broken, she couldn't feel it if she did. Armani came at her, grabbing her by the throat and lifting her off the ground. Karlea clawed at his hand, the amount of oxygen reaching her lungs becoming less and less. She grabbed onto Armani's wrist with both hands as tight as she could, pulling herself up slightly and getting her balance, before using both feet to kick him in the chest as hard as she could.

I thought this fight was going to come to a climax soon, but it is still going. Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments!

WeWriWa o6.o2.13

Its Sunday! My favorite day of the week, where I get to share another snippet of my work-in-progress,  BloodLust: Armani :)

Last week, Karlea was totally kicking Armani's ass, which all you readers seemed to like. So, let's continue on and see if Karlea can keep the momentum going. Right where we ended last week, Karlea had thrown Armani across the room...
Armani's body smashed against the opposite wall, several bones in his back breaking with a loud crunch that didn't affect Karlea at all; that sound usually made her cringe, it always sounded so painful. His body fell to the floor and he lied there waiting for his bones to heal themselves. The thought of siring Karlea drove him wild, how strong and powerful she would be with him, and how intense they would be together, broken bones and all.

He watched as Karlea ran over, flipping into the air with such grace and agility, and landing beside him, picking him up with one hand, his body slumping from the still broken bones.
"Would you like your stake back?" He asked sarcastically.
Karlea shook her head, smiled, and whispered, "No, I'm going to kill you with my bare hands."
Armani grinned, his bones snapping back into place, healed, allowing him to stand up straight and above Karlea, "Let's get to it then."

Don't miss next week, I think their fight may come to a climax ;)

Thanks for reading and please comment, I love reading your comments!

And I thank all of you that commented last week, I have not made the rounds yet. It has been a busy third to last week of school for my kids that consisted of a camping trip, orchestra concerts, and a kindergarten field trip - I am exhausted.
